Vanguard Electronics Warranty Policy
Effective for all purchases made from Vanguard Electronics.
1. Overview
Vanguard Electronics provides limited warranty coverage on devices purchased from our store. This warranty is a retail warranty, separate from any manufacturer warranty where applicable, and is intended to protect customers against defects in materials and workmanship that arise during normal use.
-
iPhones: 6 months warranty from date of purchase.
-
Other Apple products (AirPods, Apple Watch, Mac accessories, etc.): 3 months warranty from date of purchase.
This warranty applies to defects that occur under normal, reasonable use, subject to the terms, exclusions, and processes detailed below.
2. What the warranty covers
During the warranty period, Vanguard Electronics will, at its option, repair, replace, or offer a store credit for any device or part found to have a manufacturing or workmanship defect, provided the defect is confirmed by Vanguard Electronics diagnostics.
Covered items may include, subject to diagnostics:
-
Faulty hardware components that prevent normal operation.
-
Significant battery faults proven to be abnormal, subject to diagnostics.
-
Defects in supplied accessories covered by the 3-month warranty.
3. What the warranty does not cover
This warranty does not apply to faults or damage caused by:
-
Accidental damage, drops, dents, crushed frames, or impact.
-
Liquid or water ingress where the device shows signs of exposure.
-
Cosmetic blemishes that do not affect functionality, including minor scratches and scuffs.
-
Unauthorised repairs, modifications, or repairs using non-approved parts.
-
Software issues caused by third-party apps, jailbreaks, or user-installed modifications.
-
Loss, theft, or disappearance of the device.
-
Faults arising after the device has been opened by anyone other than Vanguard Electronics or an authorised repair partner.
-
Normal wear and tear, battery aging consistent with expected use, or expected decrease in battery capacity over time.
Pre-owned devices are sold with a condition grade, and the sale invoice records the device condition and stated battery health at the time of sale. The warranty does not cover normal battery wear when initial health is disclosed. Diagnostics will determine if battery degradation is abnormal.
